Full Time Mobile Security Guards

As the Mobile Security Guard, you will take on a varied and dynamic role that involves securing client properties by locking and unlocking gates, conducting thorough foot and vehicle patrols, responding swiftly to alarms and emergencies and safely removing unauthorized individuals. No day is the same in this fast-paced position. This role provides valuable exposure to real-world security operations, including regular collaboration with police and emergency services. Through incident response, patrol duties, detailed report writing, and rotating shift work, you will gain practical experience that supports a future career in security or law enforcement.What You Would DoSecure premises by locking and unlocking gates, doors, and other access points as per client protocols.Conduct mobile and foot patrols, maintaining a static presence on sites across multiple client properties.Respond promptly to several types of emergencies, including fire alarms, elevator entrapments, and intrusion alarms.Remove unauthorized individuals from premises while maintaining safety and professionalism.Enforce property rules, city by-laws, and applicable legislation.Maintain a visible, approachable presence to promote safety and provide customer service to patrons and clients.Complete detailed incident reports, daily security book entries, and maintain accurate records of patrols and activities.Report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or unusual activity.Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and site-specific procedures.Job RequirementsBC Security License (BST)Class 5 Driver's License with clean driver's abstract and claims history.Minimum of 3 years of security industry experience.Minimum of 2 years of driving experience in the Lower MainlandOccupational First Aid Level 1 (OFA Level 1) or equivalentCompensation: $20/hr12 hours graveyard shifts4 on 3 off, 3 on 4 off on Averaging Agreement What You BringHigh School Diploma or equivalentAbility to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including overnights and weekends.Reliable, independent of sound character, and a strong team playerExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.Conflict resolution and de-escalation skillsMaintain a professional demeanor in high-pressure situations.Employee Perks We OfferPaid TrainingExtended Health BenefitsDiscount Cineplex Movie TicketsOpportunities for flexible scheduling and overtime workRecognition Programs & EventsWho We AreAt Securiguard we believe in living and acting by our values: R.E.A.C.H.
