Olympia’s staff are expected to model values such as caring, cooperation, enthusiasm, integrity, self- leadership, commitment & teamwork. Role Summary This is a Senior Staff role. As a senior staff member they are responsible for assisting with training, supervising and supporting staff across camp. The Head of Programming oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of all camp activities and special events to ensure a fun, engaging, and safe experience for campers. They lead and support staff in delivering creative, well-organized programs that reflect the camp’s mission and spirit. Key Responsibilities Plan and facilitate evening and freetime programs Conduct inventory of materials and equipment Supervise and support staff Exemplify and uphold Olympia’s core values of safety, teamwork, and respect at all times. Contribute to a positive and energetic camp culture for both campers and staff. Engage directly with campers, staff, and parents/guardians to ensure a high-quality experience. Qualifications Required: Current First Aid and CPR certification Experience working with youth Experience facilitating programs Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. A passion for working in a fast-paced, dynamic camp environment.
