Primary Responsibilities:Learn to handle optics, read blueprints, and use measuring equipmentUtilize calibrated equipment as part of the manufacturing processFollow work flow instructions from Supervision/Group LeadsUse good visual acuity to identify imperfections in parts or assembliesFollow all safety protocols and proceduresMaintain a clean and organized work areaPerform basic data entry and computer workShare in the commitment towards a positive workplace culturePaint application of both Black and Silver BusBar via Emulsion Screen Paint Printer (DEK).Measure paint dimension via CMMMeasure resistivity of Silver BusBarEnsure glass quality is assessed and maintainedOperate DEK Paint Screen Printing MachineOperate the paint OvenParts inspectionOperate Thin Film chamberOperate Ultrasonic and Scribe machineQualifications & Experience:Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalentPrior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred Strong verbal and written communications skillsBasic computer literacy and confidence using technology Ability to understand technical issues and make sound decisionsComfortable working with the metric systemDemonstrated mechanical aptitudeSelf-motivated with a consistently positive attitudeCapable of working day or afternoon shifts and remaining seated or standing for extended periodsThe starting rate for this position is $21.88/hour. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
