DESCRIPTION We are looking for a certified OFF-road mechanic to join our Distribution business in Fort McMurray, AB. Fly-in Fly out -14 shifts on, 14 shifts off - Days and Nights. Camp based position at Fort Hills. You will make an impact in the following ways : Engages customers in a courteous and professional manner. Anticipates and ensures prompt and efficient attention to customer needs Applies the use of specialized tools and follows documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete less complex repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools Coaches on preventative maintenance activities and basic repairs completed by customer employees Escalates unresolved issues to more experienced On-Site Technicians and/or Supervisor Completes required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens. Completes training in line with skill and business requirements Maintains work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to site management and to their supervisor. RESPONSIBILITIES In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: Education, Licenses, Certifications: Heavy duty Red seal certification- OFF road is mandatory for these roles. Valid driver's license Clean driver's abstract Experience: Basic level field service work experience Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products. High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience (optional) Customer service experience About the role: Random drug and alcohol testing on site. Service vehicle and tooling are provided. 14 shifts on, 14 shifts off - Days and Nights. Flights from Edmonton and Calgary covered by Cummins Position is safety sensitive. Work will be predominantly on shovels. Cummins offers a 5000$ sign on bonus for this role. Premiums for day and night shift rotation. Hourly wages $ plus premiums. Some traveling to be expected. A 350$ monthly living allowance is also included in this package. Compensation and Benefits Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
