The role will be responsible for assembling, installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC and Refrigeration equipment, kitchen equipment products and Mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities Ability to diagnose HVAC equipment, full understanding of product wiring diagramsInstallation of HVAC/R-related equipment and components.Assists in the overhaul and servicing of HVAC/R units and systems.Perform maintenance and repair on refrigeration equipment and systems.Adhere to all company policies and procedures.Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety, and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulations.Contribute to the ongoing training and mentoring of indentured apprenticesAdhere to the Company’s Quality System operating procedures.Perform other duties as assigned by Management.Qualifications Certified Red Seal Refrigeration/HVAC MechanicMinimum 5 years commercial experienceRestaurant refrigeration equipment repair/maintenance experienceKnowledge of the practices, methods, tools, materials, and equipment of the HVAC Refrigeration trade.A current and valid Alberta driver’s license.Excellent written and verbal communication skills an assetPreference given for dual Journeyman Certification (Electrician, Plumber/Gasfitter).Why work at Ainsworth?
