Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment for commercial customersInstallation of HVAC/R-related equipment and componentsAssist Journeyman technicians in the overhaul and servicing of HVAC/R units and systemsPerform maintenance and repair on refrigeration equipment and systemsAdhere to all company policies and proceduresPerform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety, and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulationsContribute to the ongoing training and mentoring of indentured apprenticesAdhere to the Company’s Quality System operating proceduresPerform other duties as assigned by Management Qualifications Alberta indentured HVAC/Refrigeration Apprentice Commercial experience, overall understanding of building HVAC and mechanical systems. Restaurant refrigeration equipment repair/maintenance experience Knowledge of the practices, methods, tools, materials, and equipment of the HVAC Refrigeration trade A current and valid Alberta driver’s licenseAble to pass security screening and clearance for customer sites/locationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills an assetPreference given for dual Journeyman Certification (Electrician, Plumber/Gasfitter) Why work at Ainsworth?
