DNSnetworks is responsible for developing and executing communications strategies for a wide range of internal and external audiences that support DNSnetworks and its brands by ensuring continuous strategic objectives. The team manages DNSnetworks reputation, and works with senior executives to enhance the public perception as a leader in technology solutions, research, innovation and security. The team oversees all aspects of the organizations brand, both internally and externally.

Bilingualism: While not mandatory, bilingualism (English and French) is an asset, enhancing our ability to engage with diverse communities around North America.

Qualifications

Implement social media strategies for multiple channels for TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.

Familiarity and, understanding of for social media and digital culture, and trends as well as creative techniques.

Knowledge of design tools, photo editing software, and video editing applications to craft attention-grabbing visuals.

Highly organized with the ability to manage a content calendar for multiple customers.

The ability to plan and execute a consistent posting schedule while juggling various content types and campaigns is vital.

Ability to use data to inform strategy and detect new opportunities, while experimental with content and campaigns, monitor and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns and initiatives and make data-centric decisions

Possess a strong understanding of technology and tech terminology, enabling effective communication with our target audience.

Bilingual (while not mandatory, bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.

  • Copy and content writing:Being able to write copy that can persuade, entertain and inform people depending on the needs of each individualmarketing communications.
  • Creativity:To be a successfulsocial media specialistyoull need to be able to think on your feet, innovate, and constantly surprise your followers in order to keep them engaged with your channels and your brand.
  • Visual design:As a social media marketing specialist youll not only be a competent creative writer, youll also be able to turn your hand to graphic design, animation, and more all in a bid to continually deliver compelling socialcontentto your would-be customers.
  • Sales knowledge:Using social channels to convert readers into paying customers, and customers into brand evangelists.
  • Analytical mindset:Despite being creative, asocial media specialistalso needs to have a head for numbers and be able to interpret analytics data in order to make key decisions that can impact the effectiveness of social campaigns. This includes developing expert knowledge of Google Analytics and other similar online tools.
  • Customer service:Social media marketingisnt just about creating content and managing campaigns; theres also a reactive element, too. As asocial media specialistyoull need to have the calm head, communication skills, and general knowhow to handle customer queries and concerns directed to you through your managed social channels all in a professional way thats befitting the brand youre in charge of.
  • Mastery of social media tools:An innate understanding of which social media management tools to use for which platforms and a never-ending zeal to learn more about them in order to optimize your campaigns and maximize your channels reach.
