Working hours
30 40 hours/week Benefit: 4% of vacation pay Job Duties: â€
¢ Direct and oversee the company's poultry sexing operations across multiple client hatcheries; â€
¢ Plan, organize, and coordinate staffing requirements and the deployment of poultry sexers to client hatcheries; â€
¢ Oversee personnel management activities, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and workforce planning, to ensure efficient poultry sexing operations and service quality; â€
¢ Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and quality control standards to ensure consistent and efficient service delivery; â€
¢ Monitor operational performance, staffing levels, and quality control records, and implement corrective measures as required; â€
¢ Liaise with hatchery management regarding contracts, service schedules, staffing requirements, and operational matters; â€
¢ Develop and implement business development and marketing strategies to maintain existing client relationships and expand the client base; â€
¢ Prepare, manage, and review budgets, financial records, operational reports, and personnel records; â€
¢ Authorize the purchase, maintenance, and allocation of equipment, supplies, and transportation resources; â€
¢ Analyze operational data and utilize digital technology and management systems to improve productivity, efficiency, and service quality. Job

Requirements:

¢ Completion of secondary school; and â€
¢ Minimum 5 years of poultry farming experience obtained as a poultry farm supervisor or chick/turkey sorting supervisor, is required. â€
¢ A university degree or college diploma in agricultural management or other field related to poultry production is an asset. Language at work: English Job

Various poultry farms/hatcheries in Lower Mainland, BC (primarily in Abbotsford and Chilliwack, BC)
