Position: Expertise Consultant Kahnawake Gaming License Applications Location: Toronto Employment Type: Full-time 40 hours/ week Compensation: $45 / hour Annual Leave: Up to 20 days Company Overview: PrimeVest Canada Inc. is one of the leading consultancy firms and professional education & training providers. We specialize on providing comprehensive consultancy services for certification and licensing in different fields, including regulatory compliance and licensing in the online gaming industry. Currently we are seeking an experienced consultant to support and guide national and foreign companies, particularly online casino operators, in the licensing process with the Kahnawake Gaming Commission (KGC) in Canada. Role Overview: The Expertise Consultant will provide specialized guidance and support to national and foreign online casino operators aiming to obtain a Kahnawake gaming license. This role involves conducting research and assessment to offer strategic advice, providing support in preparation of application documentation, preparing submissions and filings, and ensuring compliance with the KGC’s requirements. Key Responsibilities: Consulting Services: • Provide expert advice to national and foreign companies on the requirements and process for obtaining a Kahnawake gaming license, and related local, national, and international laws, including gambling regulations, data privacy, and anti-money laundering (AML) requirements. License Management: • Oversee the acquisition and renewal of gaming licenses from the regulator (KGC) • Ensure the client companies meet all legal requirements necessary to obtain and maintain gaming licenses. • Guide clients in preparing and organizing all necessary documentation and application materials for submission to the Kahnawake Gaming Commission. Documentation Review: - Ensure that all application documents are complete, accurate, and in alignment with KGC standards. Regulatory Guidance: • Offer insights into KGC regulations, including compliance standards, financial requirements, and operational guidelines. • Ensure client companies meet all legal requirements necessary to obtain and maintain gaming licenses. • Stay up-to-date with changing gaming regulations and standards of the regulator. ensuring the client companies adapt to new compliance requirements. Client Liaison: • Act as the primary point of contact between clients and the KGC, addressing inquiries, coordinating communication, and facilitating the application process. Market Analysis and Reviews: • Conduct research and analysis on the online gaming industry and regulatory landscape to provide clients with informed recommendations. Qualifications: • Education: Undergraduate degree or equivalent, from an internationally recognized or a reputable university • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the online gaming industry, with a strong understanding of the global, preferably Philippines & Asian on-line gaming industry and relevant licensing process, including the Kahnawake Gaming Commission. • Expertise: Proven track record of assisting clients with gaming license applications or similar regulatory processes. • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of online gaming regulations, compliance requirements, and the Kahnawake licensing framework. • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively. • Business contacts and developed networking with the international on-line gaming operators is an asset. • Certificate or diploma related to AML knowledge and regulatory compliance training is an advantage • Location: Base in Toronto but free to travel domestic & internationally Application Process: Interested candidates should submit their resume, a cover letter detailing relevant experience, and references to .
