If this resonates with you, the Systems Solutions Manager role may offer an exhilarating opportunity
Job Purpose
At GSK, we are setting new standards for customer experience within the pharmaceutical industry. GSK is fully dedicated to assisting cancer care institutions in providing exceptional support to their patients, aiming to enhance their ability to care for those under their supervision. Our objective is to establish ourselves as a trusted and esteemed partner, demonstrating our commitment to fostering trust and cooperation within the hematology community.
In your role as Systems Solutions Manager, you will oversee the collaboration and engagement with key accounts/institutions and stakeholders in the field of hematology/oncology to drive innovative business solutions that enhance patient access to GSK medicines. This will involve identifying obstacles that hinder effective product utilization within specific institutions and formulating and implementing strategic plans to overcome these challenges.
Key Responsibilities

- Build strategic, collaborative external business relationships with targeted institutional key stakeholders; engage and partner to develop patient-focused solutions to access new GSK hematology oncology treatments within hospital and/or patient support program (PSP).
- Investigate, uncover and map current patient models of care for assigned institutions: site-specific and/or provincial treatment pathway processes, policies, protocols and workflows for hematology/oncology medicines, institutional key influencers/decision makers, systems/software integration and considerations for optimal PSP implementation.
- Identify clinical, economic and operational gaps and barriers and lead the development and implementation of innovative solutions to optimize patient access and outcomes.
- Influence and shape decisions within institutions that support operational integration of new treatments and optimal care pathway placement aligned to approved label.
- Ensure launch success by optimizing the patient journey and building solutions that are at the intersection of patient journey pain points, brand priorities and health systems barriers.
- Demonstrate leadership in gathering and sharing timely insights from external healthcare community that inform and shape cross-functional activities.
- Evaluate PSP customer experience for each assigned institution and communicates performance on both quarterly and on an “as needed” basis. Identifies regional trends and contributes insights to PSP Lead/Commercial team.
- Understand each institution and support them during transitional periods (e.g. obtention of drug public coverage)
- Conduct an in-depth analysis to uncover care gaps, local barriers and key customer needs to drive strategic objectives for the institutions.
- Enhance operational excellence and innovation to optimize care path for patients receiving treatment, identifying process optimizations and insights as PSP evolves.
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- University degree, health sciences or business administration preferable.
- Strong background in pharmaceutical industry, life sciences or medical/nursing.
- 5+ years of experience in oncology and strategic account management working with high influence key stakeholders in hospital/institutional setting.
