The following Long Term Occasional vacancy is available:

A.M.S.S. - 1.00 - General Studies* (Immediate-January 30, 2025)

• These teachers will be working with Indigenous students individually and in small groups with a focus on mathematics and science. First preference will be given to qualified Indigenous teachers.

• Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of Qualification in the respective Division and subject area;
• Experience in stated assignment is preferred;
• Knowledge of current curriculum directions;
• Excellent communication skills in order to effectively interact with students, parents and staff;
• Positive interaction as part of the school team;
• Consistent and fair classroom management;
• Working with youth in a variety of settings;
• Working with Indigenous young people is an asset;
• Electronic report card experience is an asset;
• Computer skills are an asset.
