Canadian National Railway Company (CN) is looking for a highly motivated person to fulfill a full-time (40h/week) Intern, Learning and Development position in Montreal, QC from Jan - August 2025.

Job Summary

The Intern, Learning and Development supports efforts related to the development and deployment of learning initiatives and communications. The role partners with the Learning and Development (L&D) team to develop and implement company-wide training solutions.

Major Responsibilities
  • Work on key projects and programs related to regulatory, compliance and function specific learning assignments and mandatory training
  • Support instructor led training logistics and coordination across the CN network with the deployment team
  • Assist in the preparation of comprehensive documents, including briefing notes for systems, presentations, and communications
  • Test configuration settings in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning Shareable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) packages
  • Ensure training products follow quality guidelines such as accuracy, completeness, learning effectiveness, and track deliverables

  • Fluently bilingual, both written and verbal (English, French)*
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with LMS, survey platforms and Canva*
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in progress, preferably in a field related to Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Education, or Business Administration (with a major or minor in Human Resources)
  • Certified Human Resources Professional (CRHA)*

Any experience/education/skills/knowledge for these above would be considered as an asset.
