The Opportunity:

Bridge Technologist for our Transportation and Infrastructure business as part of our Saskatchewan Bridge Team, located at our Regina or Saskatoon offices (Regina preferred). The successful candidate will join a high-performing team of professionals and will support the delivery of transportation structure projects, including highway and pedestrian bridges, bridge-size culverts, retaining walls, drainage structures, and special projects. Duties include inspection, reporting, drafting in CAD and/or Revit, cost estimating, tender preparation, shop drawing review, and contract/construction administration.

This is a contract position from approximately April/May 2025 until October 2025. It is expected that this position will include a large amount of field work all over Saskatchewan.

What you can expect to do here:

  • Conduct inspections of existing bridges, culverts and retaining walls and prepare reports;
  • Prepare CAD drawings and/or Revit models;
  • Prepare technical construction specifications;
  • Contract and Construction Administration;
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring to WSP:

  • Diploma from a Technician or Technologist program in Structural, Civil, or Transportation Engineering.
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to communicate effectively;
  • A team player with a willingness to help others;
  • A highly motivated individual willing to take on challenges;
  • Experience with field review and inspection during construction;
  • Working experience in Civil 3D, 3D modelling, and/or Revit is an asset;
  • Ability to work on several projects at a time with multiple design teams.
