The Proposal Writer Specialist should ensure consistent preparation of the proposal document through the business process.

The Proposal Writer Specialist will support the Business Development Team at the pre-contract phase as well as on ongoing commercial activities. As a Proposal Writer specialist, you will be responsible for responding to Request for information (RFI), developing and writing the scientific and technical content of study proposals, and will interact with multiple functional groups within the to develop the best customized proposal content.

Responsibilities

More specifically, the Proposal Writer Specialist must:

  • Participate in the proposal launch meetings to understand the scope of the proposal and plan the appropriate steps to meet the timelines to issue a complete proposal to our clients.
  • Be responsible to maintain and improve the proposal template.
  • Be responsible to maintain the repository of RFI questions and answers.
  • Create specific proposal content to:
  • Accurately reflect project specific strategy discussions
  • Meet Innovaderm’s and client’s needs and expectations.
  • Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of text and attachments.
  • Adapt the proposal to the changing departmental service offering.
  • Complement internal expertise with appropriate therapeutic area and indication research to support proposal development.
  • Obtain the input from internal subject matter experts to bring added value to the proposal.
  • Reach out, if needed, to external MDs and KOLs to support the development of the proposal.
  • Coordinate the various subject matter experts’ input to address any required actions on time for tight proposal delivery timelines.
  • Proofread and edit proposals so that the content is direct, easy to read, and compelling, while maintaining technical accuracy, be responsible for compliance and quality of all proposal efforts.
  • Support proposal and contract managers (PCMs) with ongoing training for drafting of proposal text.

Employee may be assigned to other responsibilities that do not pertain to their former description, if they have the required experience, are qualified and/or have received adequate training.

Requirements:

IDEAL PROFILE

Education 

  • Bachelor's degree in science

Experience 

  • Minimum of 2 years of successful experience in clinical research in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or CRO industry, including excellent understanding of CRO operations and project management budget elements.
  • Experience with RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, etc. is an asset.

Knowledge And Skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under the pressure of multiple deadlines
  • Ability to lead meetings and confident to deal with internal and external stakeholders. Must be a team player
  • Excellent English grammar, spelling, and composition as well as writing, editing, and oral communication
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to write persuasive narrative material, draft error-free, timely proposals, and provide clear explanations of technical requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of Word and PowerPoint applications

Le Spécialiste en rédaction de propositions doit assurer une préparation cohérente du document de proposition tout au long du processus opérationnel.

Le Spécialiste en rédaction de propositions soutiendra l'équipe de développement commercial lors de la phase pré contractuelle ainsi que pour les activités commerciales en cours. En tant que spécialiste en rédaction de propositions, vous serez responsable de répondre aux demandes d'information (RFI) et de développer et rédiger le contenu scientifique et technique des propositions d'études. Vous interagirez avec de multiples groupes fonctionnels au sein de l'entreprise (développement des affaires, finance, opérations, affaires réglementaires et autres) afin de développer une proposition personnalisée aux besoins des clients.

RESPONSABILITÉS

  • Participer à la réunion de lancement de la proposition avec le responsable du développement commercial et de la stratégie opérationnelle afin de bien comprendre la portée de la proposition et de planifier les étapes nécessaires pour respecter les délais de livraison à nos clients
  • Être responsable de maintenir et d'améliorer le modèle de proposition
  • Créer un contenu de proposition spécifique pour :
  • refléter fidèlement les discussions sur la stratégie propre au projet
  • Répondre aux besoins et aux attentes d'Innovaderm et du client.
  • Garantir l'exactitude et la pertinence du texte et des pièces jointes.
  • Compléter l'expertise interne avec une recherche appropriée sur le domaine thérapeutique et l'indication pour soutenir le développement de la proposition
  • Contacter, au besoin, des médecins et experts externes (KOL) pour soutenir le développement de la proposition
  • Obtenir et coordonner les commentaires d'experts internes en la matière pour apporter une valeur ajoutée à la proposition
  • Ajouter l'estimation financière dans la proposition
  • Lire et réviser toutes les propositions afin que le contenu soit concis, facile à lire et convaincant, tout en maintenant l'exactitude technique, la conformité et la qualité du document final

Profil recherché:

PROFIL RECHERCHÉ

Éducation 

  • Baccalauréat en sciences.

Expérience 

  • Minimum de 2 ans d'expérience en recherche clinique dans l'industrie biotechnologique, pharmaceutique ou CRO, y compris une excellente compréhension des opérations CRO et des éléments budgétaires de gestion de projet
  • Expérience avec RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, etc. est un atout.

Aptitudes et connaissances

  • Excellent sens de l'organisation et capacité à gérer multiples échéanciers
  • Capacité à animer des réunions et bâtir des relations de confiance avec les parties prenantes internes et externes. Doit posséder un esprit d'équipe
  • Excellente grammaire, orthographe, rédaction, édition et communication orale en anglais
