Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Telehandler Operator to join our team for a 2 year minimum project based in Delta, BC. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience operating a telehandler in construction environments and possess all necessary certifications and tickets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely and efficiently operate a telehandler to transport materials around the construction site.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas using the telehandler.
  • Assist with general labor duties on the construction site as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on the telehandler to ensure it is in proper working condition.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and prioritize workload.
  • Follow instructions and specifications outlined by the project plans and site supervisors.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience operating a telehandler in a construction environment.
  • Valid telehandler certification or ticket.
  • Knowledge of safe operating procedures for telehandlers and other heavy equipment.
  • Ability to interpret construction plans and follow instructions accurately.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks as required.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and overtime as needed.
  • Experience working on construction projects.
