DELIVERY DRIVER HELPER – KAMLOOPS

Kamloops Package Center Operations

Shift Starts: 10:30AM (Monday – Friday)

Delivery Driver Helper (NO LICENSE REQUIRED)

Your role is to deliver what matters most to our customers- in a safe and efficient way. You will be assigned to a designated geographical area and deliver packages to our customers door by foot

No license required for this position. You will be assisting the UPS Driver in delivering parcels and packages on-foot, near or around the agreed meet point. You will also assist in the pick-up of parcels and packages from various UPS Stores and customer locations in your assigned area.

This role involves performing physical work in a fast-paced environment including continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages. This position ensures the best customer service through efficiency and dedication.

  • Delivery Area: Kamloops and surrounding areas
  • Shifts: Monday to Friday starting at 10:30AM* (shift times may vary) and 4 - 5 hours per shift (shift hours will vary)
  • Employment: Part Time Seasonal Position (with various opportunities for permanent employment). Season will conclude at the end of December 2023 with a possibility of extension depending on delivery volume

Qualifications

  • Able to deliver and pick-up packages by means of walking (on-foot) and to work outside in all weather conditions;
  • Able to occasionally lift 70-lbs unassisted
  • Able to operate an electronic scanning equipment
  • Must be able to meet with UPS Drivers in assigned meet points everyday

  • Shift hours will vary according to delivery volume and location.
