Ticketing & Events Intern

The HSG Ticketing & Events Intern will acquire a complete understanding of event execution and ticket administration, focusing on providing support to all aspects of the revenue-generating business. Working with our team, the candidate will execute all events relating to ticket activities, including operating the box office on game/match days for the Tiger-Cats and Forge FC, along with other duties listed below.
Responsibilities and Duties:- With guidance from the ticketing team, the candidate will set up, manage, and execute all Ticketing Department events and others designed to drive ticket revenue.
- Collect event data to widen HSG's database and ensure proper processes are followed.
- Ensure that the collected data is inputted into the ticketing system correctly so that other ticket representatives can follow up on it.
- Assist the Business Development, Membership Services and Ticket Operations roles and responsibilities in the daily operations of the ticketing business.
- Learn, operate and execute tasks within CRM programs such as Archtics, the Ticketmaster ticketing system.
- Learn and leverage SalesForce to develop new leads and contribute to new business development and meet reporting needs and requirements.
- Assist with general administrative work, including but not limited to maintaining/organizing digital accounts, data entry, copying, filing, and sales reporting.
- Any other duties assigned by your Manager(s).
- Evening and weekend work will be required as most events will happen during this time.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to adapt to a variety of roles/tasks.
- Adept with Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel.
- Shows strong initiative.
- Passion for sport, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Forge FC, and the Hamilton community.
- Must possess a G2 or G driver’s license and always have access to a vehicle.
