Position Overview:

The re-cutter performs recuts of damaged or missing pieces for the Production floor and Cutting Room mistakes from remnant rolls. Match shade for recuts piece for in-house production and Cutting Room issues. Return recut pieces promptly to maintain the flow on the production floor.

What You’ll Do:
  • Knowledge of pattern pieces, notches and drill holes
  • Experience with different types of fabric to recognize the right side of thread direction
  • Capable of working with scissors and vertical knife cutter
  • Attention to detail
  • Good understanding of numbers
  • Good command of the English language
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Standing or walking for 8 hours
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Must have a strong work ethic with a proactive approach to the role
  • Detail-oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy
