Demolition Laborer / Concrete Cutter

Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in demolition projects by assisting in the removal of structures, concrete, and other materials.
Safely operate and maintain a variety of cutting equipment, including cutting torches, concrete saws, jackhammers, and other specialized tools.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans to understand the layout and scope of work required.
Perform accurate measurements and markings according to project specifications.
Safely lift and move heavy materials, equipment, and debris, often exceeding 75 pounds, while adhering to proper lifting techniques and safety guidelines.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and organized execution of demolition tasks.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and productivity.
Follow established safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or other issues to the supervisor promptly.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other stakeholders to ensure project progress and coordination.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in demolition, concrete cutting, or related field is preferred.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, often weighing more than 75 pounds.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and project plans.
Familiarity with operating cutting equipment, including cutting torches, concrete saws, and jackhammers.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and markings.
Excellent physical stamina and endurance to work in demanding and sometimes adverse conditions.
Solid communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Commitment to following safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and tasks.

**Salary**: $21.00-$35.00 per hour
