This position is a hybrid opportunity based in Saskatoon, SK. Members of this team are currently coming into the office one day a week.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide support to internal stakeholders through incident tracking, invoice management, and data capture.
  • Conduct research and data analysis to assist senior team members in determining the insurance needs of the CRS.
  • Support the accounting, tracking, allocation and reporting of insurance premiums and claims costs and settlements.
  • Create reports on topics such as loss analytics, risk management, and underwriting data.
  • Gather results from annual appraisals, loss control surveys, and site visits, acting as a liaison between operations and external service providers.
  • Manage certificates of insurance. This will require maintaining 3rd party certificates, reviewing internal certificates for accuracy, and matching vendor certificates to contractual terms.
  • Coordinate claim activities by responding to incident notifications and communicating between insurers and operation teams.

You will be one of two team members reporting to the Senior Insurance & Risk Analyst. This group is part of our larger Capital Optimization department, who embrace the philosophy that we are people first and employees second. You will also have the opportunity to work with professionals across western Canada at FCL, IPCO, and a variety of local Co-ops.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Financial Planning & Analysis and:

  • Have 0-2 years of experience in commercial insurance and risk management activities.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in commerce, business administration, or risk management (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
  • Hold or are working toward a professional designation such as CIP, CRM, or CAIB (considered an asset).
