As an Associate Renewal Specialist at CDW, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the customer relationship and operations process. You will work alongside and supporting the Renewal Specialists team and some of our largest, most strategic customers. Further, you’ll play an administrative role, aligned to critical tasks across the selling cycle while updating key stakeholders and our CRM and other databases; as well as overall support to process improvement.

What you’ll do

  • Initiate customer renewal quotes for software or service contracts while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Maintain CRM database records, along with necessary follow up communication/engagement with vendor and distribution partners.
  • Support data cleaning in the CRM database for opportunity, pipeline and overall data accuracy, as well as document archival.
  • Support the renewal order entry process, tracking customer orders through completion.
  • Support Purchasing, Credit and Sales Operations team communication including, order escalation, credit terms, invoicing, and part creation process
  • Communicate vendor and distribution partner updates or issues to the Renewals team, such as price increases or program changes.
  • Resolve or coordinate inbound inquiries sent to Renewals Helpdesk to the appropriate Renewals Team member, seller or other internal department
  • Participate in team calls with updates and best practice information; maintain content on other team communication boards.

What you need to succeed

Must-have

  • College Degree or 6+ months of equivalent experience in sales, sales support, customer service or administration
  • Demonstrated proficiency of written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate and collaborate effectively both internally and externally
  • Eager to take on new tasks/responsibilities and passion for customer experience, operational excellence and continuous development
  • Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining attention to detail

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in technology sales
  • Administrative experience
