Job Summary

A dynamic Marketing Manager, Post-Acute will lead and execute Medline marketing efforts in the post-acute care market, with specific focus in Long Term Care & Retirement Living, the Physician Market, and alternate markets including Online/Digital. This role will drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and strategic marketing initiatives to support customer acquisition and retention across multiple post-acute care channels, while supporting key internal Sales and Clinical stakeholder teams to grow and maintain this strategic market in Canada.

Core Job Responsibilities

  • Strategic lead responsible for executing marketing efforts for the Post-Acute market with a focus on developing go-to-market approaches that enable the Sales and stakeholder teams with programs and tools that inspire market differentiation and confidence, while delivering Customer Activation initiatives and marketing campaigns in traditional and digital/online environments including social and ecommerce activation.
  • Responsible for implementing strategies to grow brand awareness, customer engagement, and strategic marketing initiatives that support customer acquisition and retention across multiple post-acute care channels.
  • As part of the Marketing team this individual will work in close alignment with Sales and other key business stakeholders to manage, implement and activate brand campaigns, communications and activities that lead to positive sales impacts while building the credibility and differentiated value of the Medline brand in Canada. The position will activate the Medline brand in the Canadian Healthcare landscape with a leading role on the digital front as we build Medline in ecommerce in Canada.
  • Acts as lead in market research to identify customer needs, competitor strategies, and emerging trends. Utilize data to optimize marketing strategies, measure effectiveness, and report on key performance indicators.
  • Maintains and elevates brand standards and brand positioning through targeted marketing initiatives across digital, print, and in-person channels
  • Develops and coordinates sales channel discussions & vehicles to seek regular input from stakeholders to ensure required programs, messaging, and marketing tools are aligned to business objectives and priorities
  • Develops and manages marketing budget with precision

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years in a Marketing management role
  • Degree in Business or Marketing, or equivalent experience
  • MBA is advantageous
  • Healthcare Experience is an asset
  • Digital marketing experience is expected
  • Experience with Healthcare Brand Marketing is critical
  • Experience in aligning strategic initiatives to business objectives and analyzing and reporting ROI
  • Experience in managing, creating, leading integrated digital and traditional marketing campaigns
  • Experience in delivering and leveraging data-driven business analytics and developing business insights
  • Be an ambassador for Medline CARES culture
  • Strategic thinking and strong Market Dynamics Acumen
  • Understand how customers behave and react online to deliver customer action
  • Drive towards positive results and maximum value from assets and activities
  • Support decisions with data and insights
  • Embrace innovation by demonstrating comfort in creating, developing, and doing new things
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Project
  • Strong project management skills
  • Bilingual – English and French is an asset only
