Saint John, Canada Transportation and Logistics Divisional Services Full time

Reporting to the Director of Business Improvement and Safety, the Project Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing initiatives throughout the Transportation and Logistics Division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-business Health and Safety Initiatives, including the roll out of a standard learning management system (LMS) and standardized components of a safety management system (SMS).
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the 11 businesses in the division to identify and address their various needs.
  • As part of a team, develop and implement divisional standards for safety, regulatory, operational, and leadership training throughout the division.
  • Create and execute on detailed project plans and change management plans.
  • Support the completion of corrective actions resulting from audits and assessments, specifically those that will impact or benefit multiple businesses within the division.
  • Deliver regular updates to the leadership team.

Qualifications:

  • > 5 years relevant work experience
  • Undergraduate Degree, preferably in Engineering or Business Administration
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and influencing skills at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated competency in project management
  • Previous training in Lean, Six Sigma, and Change Management considered an asset
