Position Summary


As an Interpreter, you will provide interpreting services for students who are deaf and hard of hearing in a highschool.



Job Duties/Responsibilities
  • supporting students who are deaf or hard of hearing
  • interpreting instruction and facilitating communication by using sign language
  • providing one-on-one and small group support
  • supporting students with varied needs including autism, physical, medical or cognitive disabilities
  • utilizing assistive technology to support diverse learners

Education/Qualifications
  • diploma in American Sign Language Interpretation
  • membership with CASLI and local affiliate chapter (ASLIA)
  • a minimum of two years related experience including classroom-based service delivery
  • excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills

Rate of Pay


$28.70 - $36.89 per hour
