The Chinook School Division is seeking a part-time Educational Assistant to work 5.5 hours daily in a supportive educational setting. You will assist students in their educational programs, help create a welcoming atmosphere, and participate in team efforts that emphasize diversity and inclusion. Ideal candidates should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to fostering a caring environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with individual educational programs for students
• Collaborate with team members in a dynamic classroom
• Support children's health and hygiene needs as certified
• Perform necessary physical lifts and transfers
• Execute other assigned duties effectively
Requirements:
• Educational Assistant certification or relevant experience
• Ability to engage with young children effectively
• Flexibility to adapt to changes and diverse needs
• Commitment to truth, reconciliation, and culture respect
• Must pass a Criminal Record Check
