Canaan Group is seeking a Senior Documentation Lead to help launch our newly created Fractional AI Documentation Division—an initiative focused on transforming how export-import paperwork is produced, verified, and shared. In this role, you will play a key part in designing clear, repeatable workflows that simplify regulatory requirements and support automation. You bring a continuous improvement mindset, a collaborative approach, and a keen interest in using emerging technologies to enhance accuracy and efficiency across documentation processes. Manage end-to-end documentation for export and import shipments, including Bills of Lading, CERS/AES, e-manifests, ISF, AMS, Commercial Invoices, and Certificates of Origin Pilot, test, and scale our new fractional-AI tooling alongside the Project Cargo & Systems Manager Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and performance management to a small documentation team Serve as the primary documentation liaison between operations teams and clients, ensuring documentation meets expectations and timelines Minimum of 5 years experience in document management within the logistics industry. Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
