Overview:
As the Document Control Specialist, you will process and reproduce construction documents to ensure accuracy and timely relase for a large highway construction project. You will leverage your past experience in the use, set up and alignment of various client protocols and industry standard document control platforms. In addition, you will provide technical support and develop document control processes, dashboard set up and flow charts.

This role will be initially based in Flatiron's Richmond, BC office, and will transition to the project site office in Pitt Meadows, BC.

What you will be doing:

- Completes and processes all incoming and outgoing documents in the document control database, including electronic logging, scanning, distribution and storage needs.
- Maintains and distributes daily Project Read Files.
- Files and stores physical documents, including paper, manuals, books, photos, videos, and digital media in the project files.
- Establishes and maintains a listing of all materials stored in the Project Library.
- Maintains project File Index, files and library.
- Monitors Primavera program for compliance to procedures and requirements of the project and the company.
- Maintains signature authority matrix.
- Assists with internal audits and inspections to ensure department work is performed accurately, efficiently and with cost control.
- Maintains knowledge of Company’s values and strategic plan.
- Support published corporate policies.
- Perform additional assignments per management’s direction.

What we are looking for:

- Associate’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years’ experience in a related field required.
- Accredited document control training is an asset.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint.
- Past experience with Procore and Aconex preferred.
- Multi-tasking and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work in a team environment.
