Responsible for the overall management and performance of our vehicle maintenance facility. The role involves overseeing a team of mechanics and technicians, ensuring the timely and efficient repair and maintenance of our fleet. Additionally, will manage budgets, implement preventive maintenance programs, enforce safety standards, and collaborate with other departments to minimize downtime, optimize vehicle performance, and support the company's logistics and transportation operations Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday Daily review and updating of the TMW Shop planner to coordinate the shop workload Daily communication of work schedule and priorities with shop employees Breakdown support and managing for CCS customers using the CCS Breakdown Module First point of contact for customers requesting repairs Review daily inventory and monthly cycle counts Daily communication with Operations, providing updates on units out of service Coordinate PM and annual inspection in the shop Review and oversee the in-shop techs performing the Preventive Maintenance and Annual inspection, ensuring repairs meet the National Safety Code Visual inspection and completion of the annual inspection following the DriveOn inspection program Affix the DriveOn annual certificate onto the unit upon completion Creating all job sections for shop techs using VRMS codes and Standard repair times Weekly shop update meeting with Eastern Ontario Fleet Manager Active 310T Truck and Coach technician - Required High school diploma or equivalency.
