Senior Manager of Business Development Organization: CPDC/Cadena Research () Position: Senior Manager, Business Development Location: Remote Canada/US (Canada preferred). Overview: Reporting to the VP Contract Research the Senior Manager of Business Development drive growth by identifying, prospecting, and securing new clients in the life sciences sector, with a special (but not exclusive) focus on preclinical research service. This role involves building strategic relationships with biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure, and contributing to revenue targets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in preclinical CRO sales, with the ability to independently recruit and convert high-value clients. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape a transformative organization at the cutting edge of radiopharmaceutical research and development. Key responsibilities: Prospect and identify new business opportunities with biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and life sciences clients through targeted outreach, networking, and market research. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, qualifying leads and managing CRM tools to track progress and forecast revenue. Develop and execute growth strategies focused on financial success, client satisfaction, and long-term partnerships. Serve as a point of contact for potential and new clients, ensuring effective communication and management of expectations, timelines, and deliverables. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., scientific, regulatory) to create tailored proposals, respond to RFPs/RFQs, and align project scopes with client needs.
