Job DescriptionThis is a casual position, offering flexibility to create your own schedule. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing assessments, planning, implementing, evaluating, and providing personal and nursing care to residents, including medication administration. They will also be required to assess and monitor residents' actual and potential strengths and limitations, contribute to the development and ongoing changes to individualized plans of care, and administer medications according to organizational and pharmaceutical policies and procedures.
Responsibilities- Perform assessments and develop individualized plans of care
- Provide personal and nursing care to residents, including medication administration
- Assess and monitor residents' strengths and limitations
- Contribute to multidisciplinary care team meetings
- Administer medications according to policy and procedure
- Provide work direction to staff and oversee their orientation
- Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives
- Graduate of recognized school of nursing
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Excellent communication skills

The estimated salary for this position is $41.42 - $48.79 per hour. We offer overtime pay, and a range of benefits including dental care, employee assistance program, extended health care, flexible schedule, and on-site parking.
