Job Description


HealthPRO Canada is seeking a candidate for the role of Analyst, Business Development, reporting to the Senior Director, Business Development. The Analyst will explore business opportunities by analyzing performance data, researching market information and developing recommendations. This work includes but is not limited to: preparing market research, identifying prospective member needs, analyzing new business performance metrics, measuring campaign effectiveness and supporting project management of new member and service implementations.


Responsibilities


  • Conducts quantitative and qualitative analysis of key audiences, leveraging data analytics and market research to identify industry trends, competitive positioning, and emerging opportunities.
  • Develops insight-driven needs assessments to support business development strategies and inform decision-making.
  • Analyzes and reports on key performance metrics, providing actionable recommendations to optimize business development efforts.
  • In collaboration with the Marketing and Communications team, monitors, tracks new business development campaigns, evaluating effectiveness and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Supports prospects and new members with strong customer service
  • Highly collaborative project management with the Member Success Team and works cross-functionally with other HealthPRO teams.


Qualifications


  • Post-secondary degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • 3+ years' experience in Business Development with a focus on analysis and problem resolution. (Preference for experience in procurement and/or healthcare sector)
  • Ability to take raw data and refine into quality information to support business decisions
  • Advanced proficiency with software programs including Microsoft Office, Power BI and CRM (Dynamics, Salesforce)
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal/human relations skills
  • Excellent English communication skills, French would be an asset
  • Analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Time management and organization skills
