Member in good standing of the Ontario BarKnowledge of civil litigation, education, and constitutional lawMotivated self-starter with a desire to learn the business side of lawAbout the roleIf hired, you will:Advises clients on employment standards, contracts, human rights, workplace policies, and HR strategiesCounsels school boards on education law, language rights, safety, and student disciplinary actionsRepresents school boards on constitutional matters, especially Section 23 of the Canadian CharterRepresents clients in collective bargaining, mediation, arbitration, and civil litigationAppears before tribunals, including the Human Rights Tribunal and Ontario Labour Relations BoardDrafts legal opinions, briefs, pleadings, policies, and other legal documentsConducts research and analyzes documents and case law for legal mattersPerks & BenefitsHybrid Work ModelComprehensive health benefits (medical)RRSP MatchingGenerous PTO (paid time off)Annual Wellness AllowanceProfessional Development ReimbursementFree ParkingApplied to this job already?
