Location: Hybrid – Edmonton, AB (3 days/week in office) Reports To: President, Steve Whittington Department: Sales  Summary You are a Sales Development Representative (SDR) ready to make your mark—and we’re not asking for years of experience. We’re looking for attitude, ambition, and grit. This is a frontline role where you’ll generate conversations that become the lifeblood of Roadmap’s growth. You’ll be trained to prospect and connect with senior business leaders, book GTM Readiness Index Research Calls, and spark interest in our Growth Table Peer Advisory Group. If you have strong communication skills, learn fast, and want to launch your career in a high-performance environment, we’ll teach you the rest. This is a hybrid role based in Edmonton, AB, with 3 days per week in-office for coaching, collaboration, and camaraderie. Your Mission To book 15 GTM Readiness Index calls per month and 2 new Growth Table sign-ups per month by identifying and engaging ideal client companies through strategic outreach and messaging. What You’ll Do Prospect & Build Relationships Research and identify companies that fit our Ideal Client Profile (ICP) Send personalized messages to business leaders on LinkedIn and email Engage in meaningful conversations with CEOs, VPs of Sales, and Marketing Use storytelling and value-driven messages to position Roadmap's offerings Book High-Value Meetings Book GTM Readiness Index research calls with executives Invite qualified leaders to Growth Table Peer Advisory Group conversations Follow up consistently and professionally to drive meeting attendance Use the Tools of Modern Selling Learn to work inside tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, and HubSpot Track all outreach activity, calls booked, and responses in our CRM Monitor and report on progress weekly What We’re Looking For No previous sales experience required Exceptional written and verbal communication Coachable, curious, and eager to grow Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Edmonton-based or willing to relocate for a hybrid work schedule (3 days/week in-office) Bonus: Experience in retail, hospitality, call centers, customer service, or athletics—anywhere hustle and attitude matter We believe talent is trained.
