This position supports the Director across administration, marketing, communications, event coordination, and organizational operations.The ideal candidate is highly dedicated, exceptionally organized, proactive, and able to anticipate needs before they arise. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, navigate challenges with discretion and resourcefulness, and communicate with clarity and professionalism.This role also includes significant responsibilities in marketing and communications—such as social media support, content creation, website coordination, and campaign management—offering a strong opportunity for candidates with creativity and strategic thinking.Key ResponsibilitiesExecutive & Administrative SupportProactively manage the Director’s demanding schedule, anticipating needs and adjusting priorities in real time.Act as a resourceful, fast-acting administrative partner, resolving scheduling conflicts and responding to time-sensitive matters with sound judgment.Draft, edit, and prepare correspondence, reports, and briefing materials with accuracy and professionalism.Maintain organized filing systems, document tracking, and confidential records to support smooth information flow.Support budget oversight by tracking expenses, preparing reconciliations, and producing administrative reporting.Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality while representing the Director with poise and professionalism.Marketing & CommunicationsSupport social media content creation, scheduling, and analytics, ensuring alignment with brand standards and engagement goals.Prepare marketing materials, newsletters, website updates, and promotional content with clarity and attention to detail.Collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners, adapting to evolving timelines and project needs.Events & Stakeholder CoordinationAssist in planning and executing performances, events, photoshoots, and presentations with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.Coordinate logistics including schedules, call sheets, equipment, and transportation in fast-paced environments.Manage sponsor and stakeholder communication, delivering timely, polished correspondence that reflects the Director’s voice.Respond quickly and effectively to emerging event needs with on-the-spot problem-solving.Operations & Organizational SupportPrepare meeting materials, agendas, room setup, and equipment with anticipatory planning and strong attention to detail.Track action items, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure follow-through and alignment across departments.Support ad hoc projects requiring initiative, decision-making, and comfort with ambiguity.Identify operational gaps and propose workflow improvements that enhance organizational efficiency.Candidate ProfileThe successful candidate will:Hold a post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Arts Administration, Communications, Marketing, or equivalent experience.Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in executive-level support, ideally within an arts or creative organization.Be highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities efficiently.Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and a polished professional presence.Bring creativity and experience in marketing, social media, and content creation.Exhibit discretion, resourcefulness, adaptability, and strong attention to detail.Be eager to grow with Goh Ballet Canada as responsibilities expand.Have website and design experience as an asset, including familiarity with CMS platforms and design tools.How to ApplyPlease submit your resume/CV and a cover letter explaining why you are the right fit for this role, highlighting your marketing experience, organizational strengths, and key achievements.
