The role plays a central part in activating the Institute’s AI strategy by ensuring data is well-structured, accessible, and ready to support advanced analytics and innovation.This is a hands-on role with strategic influence where priorities may shift based on organizational needs. You will work closely with IT, developers, business stakeholders, and leadership, acting as a trusted partner who translates business questions into scalable data solutions.Key focus areas include:Designing and maintaining a modern data warehouse and cloud-based data architectureIntegrating data from multiple enterprise systems (CRM, LMS, finance, marketing, and other platforms)Building and automating dashboards and reports used by teams across the organizationEstablishing and operationalizing data governance, cataloging, and standardsSupporting organization-wide adoption of data and analyticsContributing to AI, analytics, and innovation initiatives as the Institute evolvesThis is an opportunity for someone who enjoys building foundational data capabilities, working with minimal hand-holding, and having visible impact in a mission-driven, member-focused organization.What You Bring to the JobYou bring a blend of technical depth, practical analytics experience, and strong communication skills, along with the confidence to operate independently in a collaborative, expert-driven environment.3–5+ years in data analytics, data engineering, or BI rolesHands-on experience designing/building cloud-based data warehouses or lakes (AWS, Azure, GCP)Strong SQL (intermediate+) and Python skills for data transformation, integration, and automationExperience with data pipelines, system integrations, APIs, and BI tools (Power BI or similar)Knowledge of multiple enterprise systems (CRM/AMS, LMS, finance, marketing)Practical experience with data governance, standards, access controls, and catalogsUnderstanding of privacy, security, and compliance (PIPEDA, CASL, GDPR, PCI)Ability to structure, document, and scale data for analytics and AI initiativesStrong communicator, able to translate data insights for non-technical audiencesProven cross-functional collaboration with IT, analysts, and business stakeholdersSelf-motivated, organized, and comfortable in shared ownership environments with minimal supervisionCurious, growth-oriented, and interested in emerging analytics, data engineering, and AIExperience in professional associations, membership-based organizations, education, or non-profits is an assetWe really look forward to hearing from you, but please understand that I will only be contacting those that are applicable for the roleOptions Consulting Solutions is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from all individuals.
