Fantastic Opportunity to Join our Highly Coveted Sales Engineering Development ProgramThe perfect marriage between engineering and businessThe Sales Engineering Development Program, also referred to as our Technical Account Manager Development Program (TAM DP), is our very own mentoring and training program that develops sales and commercial leaders through challenging rotational assignments and training curriculum. TAM DP prepares its members for off-program placement in challenging commercial roles by providing the opportunity to learn about our products and customers, while also making significant contributions to the business. The TAM DP provides non-technical (e.g. sales strategy) and technical (product applications) training.The applicant selected must be technically competent in electronics and electrical engineering and have the proven ability to interface effectively and work closely with internal and external engineering and sales departments.ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be expected to learn and contribute in the following ways:Demonstrate strong technical competence in our suppliers’ products and how they can benefit the customer.Field inbound calls and/or leads.Generate sales revenue by negotiating deals and selling products to customers.Provide monthly forecasts of opportunities and bookings.Work closely with Testforce marketing to develop product literature and position the product in the marketplace.Build strong working relationships with customers and suppliers to enhance existing accounts and acquire new customer accounts.Commit to personal growth and development by participating in Testforce sales and technical training sessions.Craft customer-focused strategies that deliver positive impact for the customer and add value to Testforce.Plan appropriate customer meetings for supplier visits.Efficiently and effectively debrief suppliers on customer needs and/or debrief customers on supplier products.RequirementsThe candidate must have:A relentless work ethic We need an individual who is driven to learn and wants to be a successful and respected technical sales professionalCollege or university graduate with a degree in electronics, electrical engineering, computer engineering (focus on hardware), electrical technologist or related discipline.Experience in metrology and/or the test and measurement of electronics (familiarity with instruments such as digital multimeter, oscilloscope, signal generator, spectrum analyzer, power analyzer).Experience prospecting sales, generating sales leads and executing sales in the high-technology, telecommunications, or software industry in a strong asset.If you think you have what it takes to become a great technical sales professional, who likes to be rewarded for their accomplishments, we want to hear from you Testforce offers an excellent remuneration package with benefitsAbout UsAt Testforce, our singular focus is to be your expert in test.
