Job DescriptionPayrate: CAD $40/hr on INC We are looking for an experienced Java GCP Developer to design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will possess strong Java expertise and hands-on experience with modern cloud services and development frameworks.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain microservices and cloud-native applications using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with external services.Work with GCP services including Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage.Implement application security using Spring Security and best practices.Create and maintain unit tests using JUnit, Mockito, etc.Collaborate with cross-functional teams for high-quality deliverables.Monitor and optimize application performance on GCP.Required SkillsStrong proficiency in Java, Spring Core, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot.GCP Certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Developer).Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Expertise in microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and ORM tools like JPA/Hibernate.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with DevOps tools and practices.Exposure to Agile methodology.
