Business Application Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTIONInsight Global is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Applications Analyst to support data-driven transformation initiatives. This role focuses on optimizing business processes, configuring applications. The ideal candidate will work independently on technical tasks and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver scalable solutions.Key Responsibilities• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements.• Translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria for the Scrum team.• Act as a subject matter expert to analyze and optimize business processes related to LMS platforms.• Manage escalations from help desks and training coordinators.• Coordinate with external vendors and internal tech partners for issue resolution.• Support release management and validate data integrity across systems.• Create dashboards and reports to support decision-making.• Participate in Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, reviews).• Maintain documentation and contribute to risk and control frameworks.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCERequired Skills & Experience• 5+ years in a business analyst or applications analyst role.• Experience with LMS platforms (Workday Learning, SumTotal, Degreed, etc.).• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.• Tools: JIRA, Confluence, MS Office Suite.• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.• Ability to work independently and lead initiatives without formal leadership responsibilities• Proactive, self-starter with a strong sense of ownership.• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and technical challenges.• Knows when to escalate and when to problem-solve independently.• Demonstrates leadership through initiative and accountability.
