Our software is operated by some of the most successful out-of-home businesses and powers impactful, compelling campaigns seen across the world.About the roleWe are seeking an experienced and strategic Payroll and Benefits Specialist to join our dynamic HR team . This is a critical role responsible for overseeing all aspects of our global payroll and benefits administration for our 300+ employees.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing complex payroll processes in both Canada and the US, and a proven track record of managing relationships with Employer of Record (EOR) partners for our APAC and European teams.This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional with a deep understanding of payroll compliance, a passion for creating best-in-class benefits programs, and an interest in compensation strategy.What to expectKey Responsibilities:Global Payroll Management:Oversee and manage 10 different payroll processes for our 300 employees across Canada, the US, Europe, and APAC.Manage relationships with our EOR partners (GP, Deel & Remote) to ensure accurate and timely payroll for our APAC and European teams.Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee inquiries regarding pay and benefits, ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness.Benefits Administration & Strategy:Develop and execute a global benefits strategy to ensure we offer a competitive and best-in-class benefits program in all locations where we have employees.Administer all aspects of our employee perks and benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, wellness, and retirement plans (RRSP and 401K).Analyze and evaluate our global benefits programs to ensure they are cost-effective, competitive, and aligned with our company's total rewards philosophy.Compliance & Compensation:Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and state payroll and benefits regulations, including pay equity legislation.Stay current on all new legislation and industry trends to ensure our policies and practices are up-to-date.Partner with the HR Operations Manager on compensation-related projects, including salary benchmarking and analysis.What you need to perform in this job 4+ years of progressive experience in payroll and benefits administration, with a focus on multi-provincial and multi-state environments.Global Mindset: Experience working with EORs and managing payroll and benefits for a global workforce is highly desirable.Compliance Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Canadian and US payroll and benefits legislation, including pay equity.Strategic Thinker: Proven ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives that enhance the employee experience.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely.Bilingualism: Fluency in English and French is required.Tech-Savvy: Proficient in HRIS and payroll systems.What we bring to the tableWellness: $500 annual Wellness fund for mental/physical health and office-related expenses.Comprehensive Benefits: Complete company insurance plan (health, dental, vision, travel) effective from day one (100% employer-paid). $500 annual Health Care Savings Account (HCSA) for additional health-related expenses.Unlimited access to virtual healthcare platform (Telus Health).Paid Time Off: Minimum 3 weeks vacation, plus an additional week off during the holidays, 5 sick/personal days, and 2 volunteer days.Retirement Savings: Group RRSP with a 50% employer matching up to 4% of your salary.Financial Perks: Transportation reimbursement for travel to a Broadsign office.Family Support: Parental leave salary supplement.Growth Opportunities: Training & development opportunities with a yearly budget to support professional growth.If you are a strategic, experienced, and bilingual payroll and benefits professional looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, we encourage you to apply.At Broadsign, we value the varied social identities that make up our community.
