As the company enters a significant growth phase—including capital raising initiatives and preparation for a future public listing—we are expanding our leadership team with a senior legal role offering substantial long-term upside.This is an exceptional, career-defining opportunity for a lawyer seeking to step into an executive-track position.The OpportunityWe are seeking a Canada-licensed lawyer to join Avvenire in a VP Legal / senior legal leadership role, working closely with the CEO, management team, and external advisors. The role is designed for a lawyer who wants to play a strategic, business-facing role while helping guide the company through financing, scaling, and public-market preparation.You will act as a central legal lead while collaborating with external securities counsel for listing and regulatory matters.Key Areas of ResponsibilityLegal Leadership & Corporate SupportOversee corporate, commercial, and governance mattersReview, manage, and help standardize contracts, agreements, and partnershipsCoordinate and work alongside external law firms as requiredReal Estate, Leasing & Dispute OversightOrganize and oversee existing real estate, leasing, and financing documentationAssist with matters involving commercial disputes or litigation, working with external counselProvide continuity and strategic oversight across ongoing legal mattersCapital Raising & Investor ParticipationActively participate as part of the core team raising capitalSupport and help lead investor discussions, diligence processes, and transaction executionContribute existing investor relationships where possible and help expand the company’s investor networkPublic Markets PreparationWork with external Canadian and U.S. securities counsel on CSE and potential U.S. public market pathways (including NASDAQ)Assist with legal coordination for listing readiness, disclosures, and governanceIdeal Candidate ProfileLicensed lawyer in Canada (eligible to practise and file in Canada)Experience or strong interest in corporate, commercial, real estate, or litigation-related mattersComfortable engaging with investors and participating in fundraising effortsMay be a younger or mid-career lawyer seeking accelerated responsibility and leadership growthCommercially minded, organized, and motivated by long-term value creationCross-border experience or U.S. exposure is an asset, but not requiredCompensation & GrowthMeaningful equity participation aligned with long-term company successCash compensation tied to successful capital raises and/or public-market milestonesClear opportunity to grow into General Counsel or Chief Legal Officer as the company scalesThis role is designed for someone seeking ownership, influence, and long-term upside, not a traditional in-house position.How to ApplyInterested candidates are invited to apply or message directly with:A brief professional overviewSummary of relevant legal and transactional experienceAll discussions will be handled confidentially.
