Overview Toronto | 3-5 years A fast-growing global fintech leader in the alternative investments space is seeking an Assistant Vice President (AVP) to join its high-performing Toronto office. This is a rare, career-defining opportunity for a lawyer with 3–5 years of Bay Street experience in investment funds or securities law to move in-house and play a key role in fund formation and distribution. Responsibilities Focus on Canadian fund formation, private fund launches, distribution agreements, and side letters, with support from top-tier external counsel. Qualifications 3–5 years of Bay Street experience in investment funds or securities law (in-house transition preferred). Strong technical legal skills with a collaborative mindset.
