Role Description This is a full-time on-site role based in Toronto, ON, for a Coatings and Color Specialist. The successful candidate will perform precise color matching, provide technical guidance on material compatibility, and support clients with custom paint formulations. Daily tasks include troubleshooting coating performance issues such as gloss, viscosity, and adhesion, as well as optimizing tinting processes for efficiency and accuracy. The specialist will collaborate with clients to deliver tailored solutions and assist with technical inquiries. Qualifications Proficiency in Color Theory and Color Matching techniquesStrong Communication and Customer Service skills for client collaborationUnderstanding of industry-specific needs related to coatings, tinting systems, and material compatibilityAttention to detail and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting product performanceExperience in coatings, paint, or related industries is a strong assetBachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field preferredAbility to work effectively in an on-site, team-oriented environment
