The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Wound Care Clinical Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Providing clinical and technical guidance to account managers and customers related to Solventum’s wound care products, and additional specialties within the medical surgical business, as needed.
Training end-users on Solventum’s products for evaluations or conversions, presents relevant and specific content related to guidelines/standards, and participates in professional associations.
Collaborating with sales representatives to meet with key customers (clinicians) that require in depth clinical/technical knowledge, understanding of clinical evidence, and how to solve moderately complex issues related to marketed products.
Supporting Solventum’s sales and marketing efforts at local, regional, and national trade shows/conferences.
Company Vehicle
This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Registered Nurse (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution in a healthcare related field and five (5) years of healthcare experience in a hospital, home care and/or long-term care environment.
AND
Current, valid Driver’s License.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Current certification(s): Certified NSWOCC (Nurse Specialized in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Canada
Master’s degree in healthcare field from an accredited institution.
Skills include ability to function independently and organizational and time management.
Understanding of principles of adult learning.
Technical presentation experience, public speaking.
Work location:
Remote Toronto, GTA or Ottawa
Travel: May include up to 60% domestic.
Relocation Assistance: Yes
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
