About the Internship:

We are seeking a motivated and creative Web Design Intern to join our team for an exciting summer internship opportunity. This is an unpaid internship that will provide valuable hands-on experience in web design, development, and user experience (UX) principles. You will work closely with our experienced designers and developers to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites and web applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of website layouts, user interfaces, and interactive elements.
  • Create visually engaging graphics, icons, and other visual assets for websites.
  • Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and conceptualize website designs.
  • Implement design mockups using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Participate in user testing and provide feedback to improve website usability.
  • Learn and apply industry best practices for web design and development.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant program such as web design, graphic design, or computer science.
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Sketch.
  • Basic understanding of UX principles and user-centered design.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing designs.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
