Job Description

As an Amazon Connect Engineer you will help in the end to end development, from requirements to implementation, and work closely with other senior technical leaders across the org. You will be a valued member of our EPS CIM Practice.

Cognizant’s ‘Customer service Transformation’ team is part of Cognizant’s Enterprise Platform Services (EPS). This is transforming rapidly, thanks to expanding digital technologies, AI-driven self-service, and the adoption of cloud. Contact centers have re-shaped into experience centers that deliver pro-active, hyper-personalized services. At Cognizant, you will join a dynamic team that helps create a contact center that remodels traditional customer journeys, selects the right platforms and infuses next-gen technologies to drive better business outcomes for our clients.

In this role, you will
  • Design and configure Amazon Connect solutions to meet business requirements. Including Omni-channel contact flows, routing and queues, prompts, user management.
  • Work alongside architecture and engineering teams to design and implement any scalable software services.
  • Automating the setup and configuration of Amazon Connect instances using Terraform.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to contact centre operations teams and end users.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Amazon Connect features and functionalities to continuously improve solutions.

What you’ll need to succeed (required skills)

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS Connect, Lex, Lambda, Dynamo, S3, CloudWatch.
  • Well versed with full stack development - node.js, python, java script Java Springboot, Deployment pipeline, Terraform.
  • Experience in migration knowledge to deploy applications/infra from on-prem to AWS Connect.
  • Knowledge with Optimizing API performance, data masking and data streaming into Splunk
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Arrangements

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week in a client OR Cognizant office in Vancouver, BC. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs.

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000/Year to $117,500/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.
