Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Practice Consultant to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our Professional Practice team, you will play a critical role in advancing quality clinical practice and promoting safe, ethical, and quality health outcomes for patients, clients, and residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide practice consultation leadership and guidance to clinicians, managers, and directors to ensure Fraser Health is a leader in clinical care and a professional practice environment.
  • Collaborate with Directors, Professional Practice to develop implementation plans that support compliance with legislation and regulations for the appropriate professional group(s).
  • Oversee and support projects and initiatives, incorporating change management and knowledge translation considerations.
  • Maximize health human resources utilization by facilitating full scope of practice for all categories of health providers.
  • Recommends and leads or contributes to the development of new clinical policies and procedures.
  • Partners with various internal and external stakeholders to conceptualize, develop, deliver, and/or coordinate practice education programs.
  • Represents Fraser Health and Professional Practice at various events, including educational family forums, professional associations, regulatory bodies, and external committees.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved clinical health profession with a Master's degree in that health profession or in health administration, education, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years' recent, related clinical and/or education experience in a complex healthcare environment.
  • Current practicing registration with the relevant regulatory college or association in British Columbia.
