Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our team at GFL Environmental. As a key member of our lower mainland team for Environmental Services, you will be responsible for growing market share and enhancing our client relationships for industrial and hazardous waste related services.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales and business development, with a strong understanding of the industrial services industry. You will be responsible for sourcing new business with prospective and existing clients, and will be relied upon to instill confidence in our customers that they are dealing with the industry leader.
The chosen individual will thrive in a challenging, competitive, ever-changing business environment. You will be responsible for analyzing customer needs and presenting solutions utilizing a thorough understanding of our extensive service offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Aggressively seek out and deliver business opportunities with new clients.
- Analyze customer needs and present solutions utilizing a thorough understanding of our extensive service offerings.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times to ensure every opportunity is taken to promote the brand.
- Ensure exemplary customer satisfaction and act as a liaison between customer and operational staff.
- Provide market intelligence in regard to competitors and pricing strategies.
- Formulate business plans and strategies to meet business development targets.
Requirements
- Previous experience selling industrial services is considered an asset.
- Project Management experience is a definite asset.
- Successful experience with solution-based sales is a definite asset.
- University or college education in Sciences, Environmental programs, or Business is an asset.
