About the Role

Grandview Kids is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with children and youth with physical, communication, and developmental needs, providing assessment, treatment, and support to help them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify problem areas and develop treatment plans
  • Provide direct and indirect client care, including use of Applied Behaviour Analysis Principles and Strategies
  • Evaluate the impact of occupational therapy intervention on identified problems
  • Maintain communication with team members and other organizations within the community
  • Document occupational therapy involvement in client care and oversee activities in the occupational therapy area
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
  • Registration with College of Occupational Therapists
  • 2 years' experience in a related clinical setting
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy assessment and treatment principles related to paediatrics
  • Knowledge of home renovations, complex equipment, and transition to adult services
  • ADP Authorizer or eligible preferred
