We are seeking a Medical Oncologist with a strong interest in managing both malignant hematology and solid tumors to join our team at MacIntosh Cancer Clinic in Belleville General Hospital.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work in a community-based hospital and a Queen's University-based, academic, tertiary care Regional Cancer Centre in Kingston.

As a Medical Oncologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of pharmacists, oncology-focused nursing staff, and an exemplary administrative team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage patients with malignant hematology and solid tumors
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive cancer care
  • Participate in academic and clinical work, including shared call duties and admissions
  • Have opportunities for clinical care, research, and teaching at the CCSEO/Queen's University
Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must have:

  • Royal College Certification in Internal Medicine or equivalent
  • Completed subspecialty training in Medical Oncology with eligibility for APP under the ONT MOA agreement
