Contract Manager

Bevertec is seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire contract lifecycle, from negotiation to administration.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and monitor the Contracts team to ensure seamless contract execution.
  • Coordinate and review formal proposals and pricing with various departments, including engineering, estimating, and program management.
  • Ensure effective contract introduction, administration, and compliance.
  • Negotiate contracts with domestic and export customers, taking into account Canadian and U.S. government regulations.
  • Manage customer inquiries, including those related to frequently changing regulations.
  • Coordinate and negotiate financial papers associated with contracts, such as Letters of Credit and Performance Bonds.
  • Contribute to corporate profitability by ensuring proposals meet financial requirements and that agreed-to terms and conditions protect the company.
  • Develop and manage annual/monthly sales forecasts, strategic plans, and performance to budget.
  • Communicate regularly with all departments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Commerce degree or Business Administration diploma from a recognized university or college, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-8 years of business/management experience, with contract administration experience being a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of Canadian government or standard industry terms and conditions, as well as Commercial Law.
  • Familiarity with Canadian and U.S. government regulations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong planning and organizational skills, and negotiation skills.
